Story
The Gray family are all taking part in the 2.6 Challenge this weekend, helping raise vital money for Dads Rock, a national charity supporting Dads, children and families across Scotland.
Charity fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.
The aim is to take part in any activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26, so:
• David is cycling 26km and running 2.6 miles (on different days)
• Julian is cycling 2.6 miles
• Charlie is doing a 26 minute Joe Wicks HIIT session
• Arabella (who has only just learned to ride her bike) is going to cycle 260m!
We'd all be really grateful if you can support our #TwoPointSixChallenge by sponsoring us whatever you can afford to - multiples of 2.6 or 26 are welcome too!
Thanks, from David, Charlie, Julian & Arabella!

Dads Rock supports and inspires Dads throughout Scotland to have the strongest relationships they can with their children, and develop strong family units. The charity aims to improve the lives and life chances of children, many of whom are at risk of marginalisation. They work to help dads, children and families in most need of support through:
• one to one support for vulnerable young dads
• free weekly playgroups attended by 150 Dads and 200 children
• music tuition for young people and families
• delivering antenatal and other parenting workshops to Dads and Mums
• reaching over 1,500 children in attainment challenged schools
