Another Half Marathon?

My knees are gone, my back constantly hurting, my blood pressure too high and my doctor is screaming “stop”

But just this last run for LIFE Charity and I will stop for good.

LIFE Charity is a charity that provides accommodation for homeless expectant mothers and their babies.

Bernadette’s Story

Bernadette came to her local LIFE House desperate for help.  Fleeing domestic violence, pregnant with her third child, and with nowhere else to turn, she didn’t think it would be possible to over-come longstanding issues and repair her relationship with her family.
Her Support Plan worked on building confidence and self-esteem and together with her Support Worker, Bernadette developed a valuable network of friends and family to ensure she was happy and safe when she was ready to leave our care.

LIFE charity receives government funding, and their houses in Berkshire depend on this. However, some LIFE houses are having their funding cut, including two in Slough. This will mean reducing the numbers of homeless mothers they can accommodate. It needs to raise a total of £2665 of new money to maintain current services.

This is why I am doing this final run  to help raise some of this money,  and I need your support.
