Story
Howdy!
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page – your support means the world to me! 😊
I'm challenging myself because I believe in the power of change. By tackling the London to Brighton 54-mile bike ride, I'm not just testing my limits, but also raising hope and awareness for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
In the past, I participated in the BHF's Bournemouth Pier to Pier Swim, and thanks to your incredible support, we made a significant impact together. This time, I'm shifting gears, quite literally, and tackling a different challenge to continue our mission.
The BHF has been instrumental in reducing the impact of heart and circulatory diseases in the UK. But despite significant progress, hundreds of lives are still at risk, every day.
Over the years, I've witnessed loved ones endure heart and circulatory disease. It’s heartbreaking. But without the British Heart Foundation, they wouldn’t have the opportunities they have now. Which has been utterly amazing. The BHF dedication to research, is a beacon of hope, something that can truly change lives for the better.
That's why I've taken up this cycling challenge: because hope is a powerful force. By raising funds and awareness, I aim to inspire change, to transform someone's life for the better, and to contribute, alongside the BHF and with your support, to the eventual eradication of cardiovascular diseases from our planet. But to achieve this, we must push ourselves to the limit.
It is only thanks to support from people like you, that we can make a change, to create new treatments and discover new cures. Just think: £24 could fund two hours of research by an early career scientist. But every pound helps, so please give what you can.
This is a fantastic cause, so please help us make a difference, and change lives for the better. Whether it's through a donation, sharing this page, or simply offering your support, every action counts.
Thank you for standing by me once again on this journey. Together, we can make a real impact on the fight against heart and circulatory diseases.
Happy Cycling!
