Story
The Missing People Grants Team - aka Netty, Nina and Joss - will be making a Herculean effort to walk 90 kilometres during the month of March, to raise £900 for Missing People's 90K Challenge!

We are so incredibly proud to be supporting our wonderful colleagues, who work tirelessly to answer calls and online chats from vulnerable children and adults in crisis, and the families left behind. They are the most warm, compassionate, expert team. And they work selflessly, 365 days of the year - to provide a safe space for people to share their deepest anxieties and fears, and to reconnect missing people with their loved ones, or with support services that can help them.
Someone goes missing every 90 seconds in the UK. That is around 170,000 people each year - and 70,000 of these are children and young people. Every £90 raised for Missing People funds an appeal to help to bring a missing person home safely. Not only that, but every penny donated to the charity can have an incredible impact, helping to fund Missing People's free, confidential Helpline and Online Chat service, enabling missing people and their families to seek non-judgemental advice and support, seven days a week.
Missing People listens, and helps people to stay safe and explore their options. We can signpost vulnerable children and adults to specialist bespoke support, whatever issues have led them to run away - from domestic abuse and relationship breakdowns to financial concerns and redundancy, and from anxiety and mental health problems to exploitation, gangs and trafficking.
We can also connect missing people on a three way call to the police, social services, a local support service or their family. And we offer a range of face-to-face and online support for specific groups, such as families missing a loved one, or young people affected by gangs and county lines.
Being missing, or missing a loved one, is a very lonely experience. Your donation will enable Missing People to be a lifeline for anyone in this position. It can happen to anyone, so please dig deep. Thank you.
