Story
My name is Kath Goulden. My partner and I moved to Bingham just over 2 years ago. I wanted to get involved in the local community and make a difference. I noticed the vibrant pink tuk tuk in the area and discovered the Rosie May Foundation which was set up in the memory of the founder's daughter who was tragically murdered in 2003. I was involved in delivering supplies and hot meals locally during lockdown and now provide doorstep chats to people who are socially isolated or at risk of being so. The charity also delivers fish and chips and holds a weekly social table amongst other activities. The Rosie May Foundation additionally does significant work in Sri Lanka and Nepal, supporting children and their families and a group of us are walking the 33 miles of the Grantham Canal on 5th March to raise funds to support this work. We are starting near Grantham at 6am and finishing at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground between 6 and 7pm. Please support us by sponsoring us, every little helps. Thank you.
