As you know, many charities have found these last 12 months a significant challenge and Down’s Syndrome Scotland is no different. In fact, the timing could not have been worse last year, as the beginning of lockdown fell on Down’s Syndrome Scotland’s Awareness week which meant that it had to be cancelled and the charity missed out on £70-80,000 of fundraised income.
This year, more than ever, Down's Syndrome Scotland need our fundraising support to help people with Down's Syndrome achieve their 4 BIG DREAMS. Their dreams focus on Gaining Meaningful Employment, Improving Health Outcomes, Better Transition Planning and Living well in their Community.
We have decided to challenge ourselves this year by completing three 21-in-21 challenges together:
- Walk, jog or run 210km in 21 days
- Wear odd socks every day for 21 days #Lotsofsocks
- Share 21 memories of our younger brother Finlay, who has Down's Syndrome
