Story

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read our story, it truly means a lot to us!

As most of you will know, we lost our dad to HLH cancer in July 2021. Unfortunately, with it being a rare kind of cancer, it wasn't found until he'd passed away but we're hoping with the money that is raised, it can be put towards the research into these kinds of cancer to help others have a higher chance of fighting it.

We know cancer affects many of us and is an ongoing problem, and this is why we are raising money for the Oncology department at James Cook University Hospital. Hopefully with the new money we raise, it can be put into finding and developing cures to fight cancer!

We have decided to do a 15,000ft skydive on the 2nd of July, at Sky High skydiving in Durham, for those who want to watch and support us! Many of our work colleagues and friends are also doing the sky dive with us, and helping to raise money for this charity.

So far joining us are: Lucy, Zobia, Erin, Ellie, Carole, and Soph.

We also have the owner of the Grange Dental Practice in Norton, Ruth Woodhouse, joining us in the sky dive.

The skydives are being paid for separately so all the funds raised will go straight to the charity

Again, we'd like to say a huge thank you for all of you that took the time to read our story and we're all appreciative of any donations, big or small!

Joyce and Roger x
