Story
I am taking on the 26 mile route of the London Marathon on April 13th in aid of Caudwell Children.
Our family and especially my son Jacob have been personally impacted in ways that can only be described as life changing. This can happen for many other disabled children and families and with your support I would like to give something back.
One of my dear friends, mother of Finn recently wrote me this poem to inspire my fundraising and I hope this inspires you, as much as it inspires me. This is what this charity really does...
So Graham's going to run the London Mara. Let’s hope he's as quick as Mohammed Fara.
He wants his friends to give him a head start by raising funds for something close to his heart .Caudwell Children what can I say, they light up your life and brighten your day.
A helping hand when life is rough, emotional support when times are tough.
This amazing charity has touched my life as a mom, carer and a wife.
I tried to pretend when I was falling apart, pretended I could cope with an ache in my heart.
Thinking we were a family all alone, and feeling guilty when we dared to moan.
But then Caudwell children opened a door to amazing families we had never met before.
People like us who were battling along with poorly children trying to be strong .
The day led us to Disney where lives were transformed we spent time with these families and friendships were formed.
The children were children and lived the dream, there were smiles and laughter and faces that beamed.
So help Graham help Caudwell Children please, what would you give to poorly children who fight daily to live.
Every penny, every note and every quid, will go directly to helping the kids.
I will be keeping this page up to date with my training, stories, and fundraising updates.
