Story

Running has been something that has come to me later in life.  Having gone back into the classroom after many years as Head of Sport, I often missed my time outdoors.  That's not to say I don't enjoy having my head down over a Chess board or blending sounds in Key Stage 1, but I have to say, I have become a little addicted (my family may say obsessed) to running in new places.

I've always done this for my own personal goal, but the opportunity to run for such a worthy cause was something I couldn't turn down - and who could refuse the formidable Mrs M-D?!

It is not in my nature to ask for support, so this doesn't come naturally to me.  All I ask is that, if you are still reading this, you may want to spur this 'older' man on in his training, with your donation.  I would be extremely grateful, as I know the McCarthy Dixon foundation would be also.

Thanks for reading.
