Story
As ever, I feel I must put myself through some pain to persuade you to part with your pounds so I'll be running the Prague Marathon on May 11th. Thats 2 half marathons, or 4 and a bit 10k's or 42195 steps (if I step a meter each step). I'll be aiming for under 4 hours, though in truth I'll be happy to finish without getting those horrible wobbly legs like you see on telly at London.
I'm raising money for Bliss, the premature baby charity because of my nephew Matthew (handsome wee fella, lovely ginger barnet) who was born 12 weeks early and had to spend a whopping 6 months in hospital before he could come home. I'm also running in memory of Matthews twin sister Ellie who unfortunately didn't survive.
Bliss provide support and advice to parents and families with premature babies and with over 80,000 babies a year requiring premature care thats a lot of support and advice ! You can find out more about what Bliss do at www.bliss.org.uk
I'll be accompanied on the run by Mark Tordoff who is there to keep me going when I get tired and grumpy (i.e. from about 100 metres in).
thanks, thanks and thrice thanks in advance
Graham
