I've been working as a volunteer for Citizens Advice Oxford for the last two years. We provide free, confidential and impartial advice and campaign on big issues affecting people's lives. Our goal is to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face.

I spend time working with clients, helping them with issues in areas like benefits, housing, and meeting needs which you and I might take for granted. Oxford residents are by no means immune to the problems and challenges facing so many people across the country.

We are an independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales. All funds raised will go directly to enabling support of clients. 

Please give generously - and then look out for me in the race on Sunday 16 October. I'm aiming to complete in sub one hour 45 minutes: even at my age!
