12 months ago I was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour and given only weeks to live. Thankfully Cardiff and Vale ULHB were willing to take on my case and I live to tell the tale. I vowed when given the all clear that I will raise money for the Liver Unit to try to help others. I have only praise for the staff on C2 ward and my family and I owe my life to all involved in my care.  

I used to love running at school, so given this 2nd chance of life, I'm going to dust off my trainers at 64years of age and see if my arthritic hips can run a 10k in under an hour!

I hope my training will pay off and I am very grateful for everyone's support. I hope to see many friendly faces on the day to cheer me over the line (or carry me!!)
