Hi everyone, Crabby here.

On the 19th September, I and 23 other cricketers from one one of my own team's opponents - Blunham CC, will be attempting to break the Guinness world record for the longest continuous game of cricket, and are aiming for a time of 59 hours.

In this sleepy corner of Bedfordshire we will be playing, and playing, and playing, whatever happens with the weather.  If it rains we carry on, if it hammers down, we carry on, you get the picture.  We start at 9am on the Friday and hope to carry on regardless until Sunday evening.  The only opportunity for any sleep is when my side will bat.

Blunham are trying to improve their facilities as they continue their rise through the leagues, and have over 100 youngsters, 4 of whom have now played for their county, at age group levels.  They are a very friendly bunch, totally obsessed with cricket, so I'm hoping you will help to support me, to help them by sponsoring me.
