We raise funds for patients with EB to help deal with the many challenges of EB

Story

Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare genetic skin blistering condition thats sometimes referred to as the ''Butterfly Disease'' as those affected have fragile skin just like the wings of a butterfly. Even the softest touch can cause devasting wounds. Dressing these wounds can take up to 3 hours to do and when the dressing sticks , so does the patients skin. There is no cure currently for EB and thats what we are trying to raise money for and also to raise awareness for this terrible disease.

About the charity

DEBRA Ireland provides support to all those living with EB. We receive no guaranteed funding, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters and fundraising campaigns in order to continue the level of support that we offer our patients. Without this support our services would cease to exist.
