Story

Hello, and thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

During 2010/2011 I am President of the British Parking Association and will be supporting Demelza Hospice Care for Children as my chosen charity throughout my Presidency.

I am very pleased to say that my daughter Emma Stoneman run a 10k race at Leeds Castle in Kent. And rasied £680 so far. Also my son-in-law, James Stoneman run the Windsor Half Marathon earlier this year and has raised £1070 so far.

I too have raised £1715 with my charity raffle held at Draper's Hall London on the 1st December at The British Parking Association's Member's Dinner.

Demelza do not receive any Government grants and rely solely on donations. During my time as President there will be many people helping me support my chosen charity by organizing sponsored runs, walks, and other events, I will be keeping you updated with their progress.

Even my Granddaughter, Maisie who is eight, is doing her best for Demelza by being sponsored for doing jobs around the house and being sponsored for doing a run and bike ride for her school.

So please give as much as you can to help this worthy cause… thank you for your support.

Demelza Hospice Care for Children cares for life-limited children and their families across Kent, East Sussex and South East London. The services combine Demelza House, an eight-bedded hospice in Kent; Demelza Community, a hospice-at-home service based in East Sussex and Demelza South London, a new six-bedded hospice opened in April 2009 in Eltham.
