Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
2 years ago Graham and Moshe cycled in Israel from Ramle to Jerusalem for Alyn, and previously from London to Southend for Ovarian cancer
We’ve done Capital to Coast twice before and it’s a tough ride over the hills at Leatherhead and Ditchling Beacon. Great fun on the last downward stretch into Hove, for the wonderful welcome by Norwood Capital to Coast organisers
Norwood recently launched a new strategy, Change a life.
Norwood helps to change the lives of thousands of people with learning disabilities and children and families in need each year, one by one.
Norwood’s vision is for people to live the life they choose.
It is our mission to support each and every child, adult and family, to meet their aspirations, whatever their ability, whatever their ambitions.
To be able to change a life, one by one, day by day means changing ourselves too. Norwood is constantly adapting the way we work to suit the rapidly changing environment around us. Both the global recession and the changes in the world of social care provision are having a profound effect on the future direction of the Charity.
That’s why Norwood will place a greater emphasis on personalisation which means giving every child and adult using our services, an individually made service so that we empower people to become more independent through the opportunities we provide for them.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
What this means is that as a charity, we are becoming more personal in everything that we do.
