Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year the intrepid Rutland Runners will take part for the 5th consecutive year in the British London 10K on July 21st, 2019, with 13 very determined runners in our team, including Alison Petruccio who recently completed her first London Marathon.

We are fundraising for Brake, the road safety charity in memory of our dear son, brother, colleague and friend Joseph Tyers who was cruelly taken from us at the age of just 20 years old in a tragic road collision. Brake provided us with much needed information, support and practical help at a time when we were trying to cope and recover from the sudden and terrible shock of losing Joseph. We truly appreciate your donations, large or small, which will all go to support the vital work of Brake....
