We are proud to be participating in the Brave 2023 show raising vital funds for the Friends of Anchor and their ANCHORED Together appeal which is the charities commitment to raise £2 million for additional extras within the Anchor centre which is currently under construction and due to open in Aberdeen later this year.
Stuart decided to take on the challenge to raise funds for friends of Anchor to support the vital services they provide and thank medical staff for their support through the hardest of times. Stuart had to go through weeks of chemotherapy after he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in January last year. Graham was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September after Stuarts diagnosis, prompted him to get tested. Both have been on different journeys but a common theme to them both has the been the invaluable support from family and friends and all the medical staff in the various departments. By raising funds and taking part in the event, they aim to raise awareness of urological cancers and give something back.
