Cancer Research UK is dedicated to funding research into all types of cancer including breast cancer.  This research is helping develop new treatments to improve cancer survival.  Although Rachel's cancer was incurable at diagnosis, the treatment she has had has given her more years to enjoy and devote to her family.  Cancer Research UK funds trials into targeted breast cancer drugs such as Palbociclib which help prolong life in women with advanced breast cancer without the side effects of chemotherapy.
