Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. You are probably sick of hearing my sob story from 2021 when I got flattened by a dog during a run just before the GNR and injured ankle tendons, having competed the longest marathon training runs and started tapering.

I took a few months off then got in a six month uninterrupted training spell. Covid bit me on the bum the day before I turned 50 (in July) and set me back 5 weeks, but I'm catching up. Although I won't be as quick as I would like, I'm up to 20 mile long runs and 40+ miles a week so I'm in reasonable shape. (And avoiding dogs!)

Vasculitis UK helped me when I was ill a few years back. My kidneys and heart were affected and I was very scared and could find little information about the rare condition. The charity continues to be a source of support when needed.

Compared to most with the disease I am really lucky and lead a competely normal life with just a couple of tablets daily. I've stayed in remission to date and now just have annual tests / a review. Tales from others can be horrific sadly. The charity funds research as well as providing support.

Thanks for reading this and for any donation that you can spare. Those who contributed to the £400+ that I raised prior to injury last year,  thank you ever so much. Please do not sponsor me again!

I'll let you know how I get on. My London bib number is 42513. Red wave 4  starting10.10- 10.14. (GNR bib number was 6952.)

Thanks again,

Graham
