Story
I last ran a marathon in 1985 when stationed in Berlin in the Army. My training for the race and the tactics on the day were haphazard and so it was a bit of a chastening experience squeaking over the finish line in 3hr 59 min. Now 33 years on old, wiser and approaching retirement running a marathon feels like unfinished business.
As a child I lived in Uganda where gorillas are found. The Gorilla Organisation not only directly supports protection of the animals but supports local the local population. This enables both communities to live side by side harmoniously.
