Story
In a challenge of a lifetime, Jane & Graham are joining the Clipper 2017-18 Round the World race, sailing on 70' yachts from Australia to Sanya and Qingdao in China, with Graham then going on across the North Pacific to Seattle and to New York via the Panama Canal, a voyage of 33,000km.
After completing four weeks of training, we are joining an amateur crew of 20 on each of the 12 boats in the race, each under the guidance of a professional skipper for what is considered the one of the biggest challenges of the natural world and an endurance test like no other. Jane is on "Garmin" and Graham on "Nasdaq".
As well as challenging ourselves, we are, through Clipper Race Partner Unicef, helping to support children all over the world facing far more dangerous challenges than we will ever experience. We're hoping that together we can help Unicef build a safer, happier world for children. Please help us help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. Donations gratefully received in any currency. Please also spread the word by keeping track of our progress in the race sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
(If you would like your donation to be tax deductible in Australia and have the Australian government help out we have a separate "Everyday hero" page, [copy this link into your browser: https://give.everydayhero.com/au/jane-graham-s-clipper-round-the-world-yacht-race] which donates direct to Unicef Australia and which will provide you with a tax receipt).
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
