Story
I am taking on the Manchester to Blackpool Night Ride this year to raise money in memory of my son Toby who passed away 7 years ago.
When Toby died 4 people were given the gift of life through organ donation.
I know that the BHF does loads of research in conjunction with The Blood and Transplant teams. Sadly the recipients of Toby’s heart has now passed away. She had another 5 years with her family following the transplant which is priceless.
The more research BHF does brings health benefits to many people, but also people who are given that second chance and this is why I’m raising money for the BHF.
