Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After a brilliant summer of sport I feel that it is now my time to 'Inspire a Generation' and follow in the footsteps of Wiggins, Farah. Ennis, Weir & Murray in becoming a legend in my chosen discipline, the half marathon. At the end of October i will be looking to run the distance in under 2 hours and in doing so hopefully raise a few quid for my chosen charity, Rossendale Hospice. Being 38, overweight & partial to the odd pint/gallon of lager I am under no illusions that this is going to be easy, but I am going to buy all the proper gear anyway so at least if my time isn't upto Olympic standard, I will at least look the part.

Rossendale Hospice is a local charity that aims to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care and support for people with cancer and other life limiting conditions, their families, friends and carers; and to develop specialist treatments and sustainable services which enhance their quality of life.

Thank-you

Graham
