Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page

I am taking on my BIG13 challenge in recognition of the changes in me that would not have happened without the inspiration and support I have received from More to Life, a UK charity that provides life-changing training.  

Over the last 15 years I have explored and mined the real and true me. I am committed to continue that exploration and to EXPRESS myself, my feelings and deepest thoughts. Since going to an advanced More to Life course in 2010, I have discovered that I write poetically, sculpt in clay evocatively and, this year at The Pearl, I found that I can paint expressively. As well as being commissioned to create a sculpture, three people said they wanted to buy the watercolour painting I created this year at ‘the Pearl’. Bear in mind that I have not engaged in any of these artistic activities since my early teens, and that I am an analysts with a 27 year career was in statistics behind me. I am surprised and excited by these discoveries. I claim them and recognise now that I am an expressive human being who creates art. My challenge is to believe the work has value and to offer it for sale.

I want to offer the opportunity for self discovery to many, many more people and so I am entering the BIG 13 challenge. I am creating a limited edition of prints of the painting to raise money for More to Life. Before making your online donation, please email your contact details to me (graeme,davison@btinternet.com ), and I will call you back to discuss arrangements for payment and delivery.

Payment will be in 2 distinct and seperate parts: You will need to send £25 directly to me by cheque or BACS transfer, to cover the costs of printing and delivery. And then in addition, make a donation to the BIG13 challenge using this JustGiving website, I suggest donations could be upwards of £26 and be multiples of £13 (eg £26, £39, £52,...£130...).

So, for example, if you choose to donate £39 you should do that using this JustGiving Page attracting Gift Aid. Seperately you should send £25 directly to me, by cheque or BACS transfer, so that I can then pay the Printer and Post Office for there services. This will make a total payment from you of £39+£25=£64. 

Donating though JustGiving is simple fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money will go directly to charity. Remember, Talk to me before donating.  

I am taking this challenge to raise over £500 for, and say thank you to More to Life. Your appreciation of the work will also be a BIG encouragement to me on my journey of self discovey.
