Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Lee and I completed the first part of our half marathon double, we completed the Wokingham half marathon in 2:03:34 which is a personal best time for Lee taking approx 3mins off his previous time.  The weather was fantastic and 2,600 people took part.  It was very hard work and both of us thought of the good cause that we were running for as motivation.  We now have 3 weeks to go until Liverpool half marathon and have aches, pains and a dodgy knee to get better.  The above picture shows us after the run with our medals (just before Lee had to use the toilets behind to part with the contents of his stomach!!)

We have decided to do the run's for the Prostate cancer charity as it's a charity that has touched Lee's family. Prostate Cancer is the most common form of cancer amongst men with nearly 32,000 cases diagnosed each year.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please dig deep and support this worthwhile cause as Lee and I are doing our bit so please do yours.

Many thanks for your support.
