Story

Unfortunately due to injury I will now not be running the 2022 marathon. Update below

I work in the construction industry and like others within the industry it hits quite hard when someone you know is injured on site. Last year like many others Gary who I do not work with but know locally went to work and fell from height on a construction site. The fall left him paralysed from the waist down and his condition is obviously life changing for him, with the effects felt by family and friends. His story inspired me to challenge myself like never before, and I am doing the London Marathon (I've never been a big runner)to raise funds for this wonderful charity and support their work in their research.
