Story
On 4th June I'm taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk on behalf of Friends of the Neuro Ward.
Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, but thanks to the skills of Mr Giamouriadis and his team and the care I received from the wider Neurology ward, I have been given a second chance at life and i'll be eternally grateful. Doing the Kiltwalk and raising some much needed funds seems the least I can do.
I consider myself exceptionally fortunate to have escaped virtually unscathed given the risks I faced. Many other are less fortunate and require extensive support and care from the ward. Your donation will contribute towards patients continuing to receive the highest level of care from a brilliant group of people.
Thank you
