Part of this day is to raise money for Emmaus Burnley, who is our chosen charity. Lesley, Steff and Mike have agreed that we can throw wet sponges at them. In addition, there are three Emmaus groups, all of which are working towards setting up an Emmaus community in their area. Emmaus provides people with a home for as long as is needed, support, and meaningful work and training within social enterprises.
