Story
As many of you know, in 2021 I ran the length of the UK to ‘get everyone home for Christmas’. This was a challenge that pushed me both mentally and physically, running over 100km each month, but it made me realise I truly can take on anything.
The London Marathon is an iconic event, I knew 2022 was my year. I will give it my all. Running isn’t something that comes naturally to me, I have to train hard and I’ll be sticking to the plan come rain or shine!
The marathon is 26.2 miles, a crazy distance, and I want every mile to mean something.
As many of you know, my precious dad has dementia and the team at ARUK have been a fantastic support to our family. I want to thank them and run this marathon on Team ARUK knowing the incredible work they do will be the single only motivation I need to get me to that finish line
Paps, this ones for you big man. You were there to see me win my Year 6 100 metres and I remember you yelling my name all the way, a memory that will stay with me forever. I’ll cross that finish line after 26.2 miles and I know it’ll be the exact same feeling. You, and you only, will get me over that finish line paps. I can’t wait to make you proud.
This is a charity so close to so many hearts, I cannot thank you enough for your donation.
