On January 28th I will be travelling to Bolivia for ten weeks with ICS Tearfund to serve a community project in Cochabamba city. The project helps works with the education of street children and community HIV/AIDS education

In Cochabamba I will be leading and working alongside a team of nine young people including four Brits and five Bolivians; our work will include teaching the children English and computing skills, cooking and feeding the children and running HIV/AIDS community education sessions.

The project is largely funded by ICS, but in order to raise awareness of the work done on ICS projects and that volunteers might demonstrate their commitment to their placement, volunteers are asked to fundraise at least £800 which will help to fund other Tearfund ICS projects.
