Story

Willow Wood Hospice holds a very important place in our hearts.

We couldn’t put into words how grateful we are for the quality of care our relatives received, making sure they were as comfortable as possible during their final days. We also want to thank them for their incredible support for our family during the time we have spent at the hospice over the years.

In memory of Billy, Andy and Betty, on the 21st May 2022 Grace, John, Andrea & Paul will be climbing the highest mountain in North Wales – Mount Snowdon. Scaling the highest mountain in Wales, at 1,085m it will take approximately 7 hours to walk, starting and finishing in Llanberis. This won’t be easy, but we are determined to raise as much money as we can for such an amazing hospice.

All donations will be so greatly appreciated xxx

Willow Wood Hospice is an adult Hospice providing specialist palliative care for patients with life limiting illnesses, both cancer and non-cancer diagnosis. It costs £2.8 million to run Willow Wood Hospice each year, they currently have to obtain in the region of 79% of that figure themselves.
They rely almost entirely on the donations they receive, in order to provide the best facilities they can for both patients and the families.
