I'll once again be braving the elements and spending a night sleeping rough so others don't have to. 

Although Sleep Easy never gets easier it does get more rewarding year after year. Each time I bed down under the stars I spend time thinking about the young people and communities our YMCA has  been able help and the lives that have been transformed as a result of events such as Sleep Easy.  

Each night our YMCA provides housing and support for 197 individuals. Supporting young people to move along their positive pathway and enter education, gain employment and move on to independent living. 

I've had the pleasure this year of seeing many young people achieve their dreams, we've had young people progress to University we've had residents gain employment and many moving on to live independently. Lives quite simply are transformed as a result of the work we do at YMCA Derbyshire and I feel honoured to once again be doing my bit to try and raise vital funds to provide support to those who need it most. 

So on behalf of myself and all at YMCA Derbyshire, thank you for your support together we really can transform lives.
