Story
My wonderful Fiance is running the London marathon and has decided to raise money for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.
Sadly in February we lost our baby because of an ectopic pregnancy. We had no idea and I wasn't in as much pain as many people say happens when you have an ectopic. We were just going for a routine scan when we were told the awful news and I was rushed to emergency surgery as the fallopian tube was hours from rupturing. This was all during covid too and very scary.
An ectopic pregnancy is not only a loss of a child but is also life threatening. Not enough is known about this and what makes it worse is that most people claim you have to be in excruciating pain (which I wasn't!)
The ectopic pregnancy trust is close to our heart and has helped us with virtual Skype councilling and their website helped us with so many questions as to why it happened etc.
Luckily there were no reasons or causes that this happened just bad luck however this continues to happen everyday to woman and I can honestly say its something we probably won't ever get over so atleast by raising awareness and money we can play our part to help.
Thank god I don't have to run the marathon as obviously I wouldn't be able to but I am so thankful for Alli for doing it for this cause.
Please donate anything you can :)
Lots of love xx
