In May 2021, our wonderful friend Sarah sadly lost her amazing mum Jean to cancer. Jean was an incredible woman, who, alongside the entire McCann family, provided us all with endless laughs, a place to stay, a whole lot of food and so much love and generosity whilst we were growing up. 

In Jean’s memory, weve decided to take on the challenge of running 60 miles through the month of September, to raise money for cancer research. We range from Marathon runners to girls who bought their first ever pair of running shoes last year, so each of us will tackle this in their own way, with the 60 mile goal in mind. 

Cancer has sadly affected all of us in our friendship group, with mothers, aunties, uncles and grandparents being among those who have faced this awful desease. We‘re hoping that by completing this challenge, and raising money for cancer research, we can help towards the lifesaving work they do.
