Story
All funds raised go towards Cardiac Risk in the Young, Engineering's Charity of the Year, in honour of Bilal Khan.
(For those who didn't know him, Bilal is a much missed colleague of ours.)
Rules of this one: for every £7 donated on this page, I'll run for a minute. Up to 24 hours. This will be done as laps of Richmond Park on the second or third Saturday in November (giving myself a weather window). So donate £5k, I'll run for 12 hours.
Because there is a realistic chance my body will give up before I get to full duration, and I wouldn't want to let you down, for every hour I fail to run I will rematch the donation to charity.
So ideal story for the charity: you donate £10k. I get horribly injured walking to the park, and thus have to donate £10k. GR then _triple match_, resulting in £80k for a very good charity.
My ideal story is much closer to you donating £500 and me having a pleasant jog. Over to you...
Thanks in advance!
