Story

In 2019 I was diagnosed with cancer and in 2020 I found out it had spread to my liver and is incurable.

I wanted to use the time I have left to do something positive so in 2021 I ran London Marathon, climbed Scafell Pike and completed a number of other challenges for Children With Cancer UK.

In 2022 I ran the Manchester Marathon, climbed the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland and more.

The reality of my situation is that the clock is ticking, I can’t plan too far ahead and I need to work around my treatment so in 2023 my goal was simply to do as much as I could to raise money for Children With Cancer UK.

2024 is well underway, and as well as walking from Newcastle to Sunderland, I’ll be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Helvellyn and much more.

Since 2020 I’ve helped raise over £40,000 for this wonderful charity and I’d like to see that go up even further this year.

Cancer won’t win.
