Story
COVID-19 has forced us all to change the way we live our lives and some are more deeply affected than others. Demand for mental health and suicide prevention services has soared during the pandemic.
And again this year, you’ve highlighted mental health as one of the causes you care about the most, so this May, we’ll ‘Go the Distance For Aware’ again! From Monday 10 May through to Friday 14 May, as part of Mental Wellbeing Week, we’re asking you to channel some Olympic spirit and help us to walk, jog or run as far as this year’s Olympic host city, Tokyo, all in aid of Aware!
For 35 years, Aware has provided free mental health services in communities throughout Ireland to support people experiencing anxiety, depression and related mood conditions. Whether it’s the first time a person needs to reach out for help, or it’s a recurring feeling, Aware is always there.
Please donate whatever you can to our FB Aware fundraiser and get a raffle ticket for every €5 donated and the chance to win some amazing prizes.
