Story
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope my photo made you smile!
I took up running last April. Two boys and epilepsy surgery had left me frightfully overweight - and running seemed the most practical solution...I've clocked a few miles since and I'll be taking on a new challenge when I run the Greater Manchester Marathon on April 28!
I'll be doing so for Sheffield's Children's Hospital Charity. Whenever I step out to run, be it for one mile or fifteen, I am aware that I wouldn't be here without them. Born in Jessop's Hospital, Sheffield, eighteen months later I lay in the Children's Hospital in a coma after my first epileptic seizure. The fact that I am here to tell the story tells you what a great job they did!
So please support me and The Children's Hospital Charity our challenges! Come the end of April, mine will be over... but theirs is never-ending.
