On 29th May 2011, in the company of 3 other colleagues, I will be attempting to cycle the 25 miles from Falkirk to Edinburgh along the canal banks in order to raise money for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland.

I reignited my passion for cycling last year with a brand new bike and newly found determination to put myself to a greater use. With the streets of Edinburgh as my training ground, I will endeavour to get in as many training miles as possible before May.

Having watched Sadie raise money for Cancer Research with her 5K walk and charity Abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge, I would like to follow in her footsteps of helping others and raising awareness and support for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland.

So please, if you can donate even a pound to this wonderful charity, I would be more than grateful.  Also, keep your eyes out for me on the streets of Edinburgh and feel free to line the canal banks on May 29th with friendly faces and an oxygen tank!!
