Event: Thomsons Thames Challenge 2014, from 12 September 2014 to 13 September 2014
We help the hospital offer a better future to seriously ill children across the UK

Story

On September 12th I along with another 150 Thomsons people will complete our company Thames Challenge, this involves traveling along the river Thames undertaking any number of activities, from running to kayaking to rowing.

As part of the challenge I will cycle from Kemble, the source of the river Thames, to London on a Boris bike in under 24 hours.

I will be cycling 240km (150 miles) along roads following the river Thames in order to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is one of the world’s leading children's hospitals, each year, over 200,000 patient visits to the hospital. Their mission is to provide world-class clinical care and training, pioneering new research and treatments in partnership with others for the benefit of children in the UK and worldwide. In everything they do, they work hard to live up to their three core values; pioneering, world-class and collaborative. Great Ormond Street Hospital provides inspirational and world-class care to hundreds of children every day. It is an extraordinary place that needs our help.
