Whether you’re a serious quiz master or a general knowledge novice, take part in this unique event, while supporting cancer patients and their families.

BBC Radio Manchester has partnered with The Christie in 2013 to raise £1 million to fund a mobile chemotherapy unit. I’m supporting this fantastic appeal by hosting a quiz live on BBC Radio Manchester and BBC Radio Lancashire. Hundreds of pubs from across the region will be taking part and I’d like you to join us!

So if you are a pub landlord, quizmaster, WI or group leader, all you have to do is register with us and we will send you out everything you need to join in on the first ever live radio charity quiz. If you are interested in taking part, why not ask your local pub to get involved or request a pack to take part from home with your family and friends.

If you’d like to take part in The Christie Factor, simply register before 10 May by completing the form enclosed or at www.christie.nhs.uk/bbcradiomanchester. All you need to do is recruit plenty of enthusiastic team members and tune in to 95.1 FM (Manchester) or 95.5 FM (Lancashire) from 7pm on Thursday 16 May. You may even find yourselves joining me live on air as I will be talking to quiz masters and contestants at venues across the region. As well as the opportunity to feature on my show, the quiz that raises the most towards the appeal will win an exclusive trophy and the honor of being the quiz champions of the night!
