Story
Gordon was loved and adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him but sadly he was taken from us too soon. As a tribute to my darling brother, who remained optimistic and cheerful until the end, my family and friends wanted to do something positive in his memory, so we have dedicated this page in order to raise money for brain tumour research together with Brain Tumour UK.
Gordon was diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was 20 years old and for over 13 years he put up a wonderful and brave fight. In many ways this terrible illness ruled his life for those 13 years, he was unable to drive, he could not continue with his studies in computing and his short-term memory was often almost non-existent. But staying true to his positive nature, he didn't let this get him down and we would often laugh at his memory or lack of memory.
Unfortunately, there was no cure discovered for Gordon's type of tumour during his lifetime however, hopefully we can help make a difference for other people in his memory.
From this page you can visit, donate and even create other pages dedicated to Gordon and if you have any questions or ideas please do not hesitate to contact either myself or my family.
