Story
On Thursday 27 February, a group from Goodman Derrick's Real Estate team will be sleeping outside for one night to help raise funds to prevent young people from facing the same prospect, but in their case not for just one night, but possibly every night.
This year, around 86,000 young people in the UK will be homeless. Homelessness is more than just sleeping on the streets. While this can be the most dangerous, and most visible, form of homelessness, it is just the tip of the iceberg. Homelessness means not having a place to call home, a place that is private, secure, affordable and where you have a right to stay.
LandAid is the property industry charity working to end youth homelessness in the UK. They bring together businesses and individuals from across the industry to support charities delivering life-changing projects for young people who are or have been homeless or who are at risk of homelessness.
Please may we ask you to support us by making a donation and help these young people.
