Story
In memory of my mother, Doris Gold, $5 from every cover charge will be going to benefit the
Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, an organization very near and dear to my heart.
My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1986, and died in 1988.
In 2006 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but I am alive and thriving - thanks to 20 years of research and advancements in medicine. But mostly because I’ve been very fortunate to have access to excellent healthcare.
The PNWHI, under the umbrella of the Entertainment Community Fund, helps to provide quality healthcare to all women in our industry - regardless of race, color, creed, how they identify themselves, or what their life choices are. This is a basic right that should be available to all of us.
i’ve set up a funding page for those of you who may not be able to come to the show - or who are able to contribute a bit more to this amazing organization.
