In memory of John Thornton
We support young people to follow their dreams and ambitions

Story

The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of Lt John Thornton, a Royal Marines officer (and ex-air cadet and Junior Leader) who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008, at just 22 years old. The charity was set up by his parents to provide young people with scholarships and bursaries to support their personal development and the pursuit of their ambitions in memory of John. To find out more about JTYAF, or John Thornton himself, visit http://www.jtyaf.org/.

In order to raise money for this amazing charity, I will be walking from Stockport to Leek and back in one day, totalling 50 miles.

In short, I am asking for donations from you whilst I go for a Leek.

Please donate as much or as little as you can, every donation helps!
