The Rev Peter Ndelwa runs an orphanage and school near Arusha in Tanzania. He devotes all his time and considerable energy to helping the poor and destitute, and providing them with loving care and a secure place to live and learn. Gohechi is the name of his organisation. 

It is very small and does not have the resources for extensive fund raising. One of the main problems is that Gohechi has to regularly move premises as they are at the mercy of different landlords. This has caused huge problems. Peter has now found some land which he is buying in instalments (this approach is very normal in Tanzania). On this land he can not only build a permanent base, but also grow crops for helping Gohechi towards self-sufficiency in food (he is not only very good with looking after children but also in using organic farming methods to grow lots of food).  

Funding has proved hard to come by for Peter and he needs to pay the balance of the price on the land very soon.
