Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This is my story and my reason for this walk. I gave up alcohol in Swansea in 1995. I have not had a drink since. I have lived on Hampstead Heath from 2005 until January this year.
I don't claim benefits and work as a handyman. I am a bricklayer by trade.
The soup kitchen has helped me a lot over the years. I met friends and started to help out. It does a good job feeding homeless people 5 nights a week.
I wanted to give something back and came up with this idea.
These are my preparations:
Fitness; every day I walk 10 - 15 miles.
16 May
Bought gear from Blacks Brent Cross. They gave me 30% discount. So, get your camping stuff from those guys!
23 May
Got heavy cold. bad cough
30 May
Feeling better! breaking in new boots
2 June
Canping outside getting ready for the off!
I want to say a big thanks for all those giving on this site.
