Why did we choose the Disasters Emergency Committee?
When large-scale disasters hit countries without the capacity to respond, the DEC brings together 15 leading UK aid charities including The Red Cross, Save the Children, Oxfam and many more. Pooling resources to work as one, the DEC is pivotal in co-ordinating the UK's response to this humanitarian crisis.
Latest Update : Every pound donated to DEC charities will be matched by the UK Government up to £20million.
