Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
PLEASE NOTE: I shall be doing this challenge in November 2009!
My challenge is to ride a 350 Enfield Bullet motorcycle over 1,000 miles through Rajasthan, India to raise funds for Scope, the charity that helps children with Cerebal Palsy.
As a student at Salford University, studying Prosthetics and Orthotics, we have people with CP volunteer to help us with our studies - without them we would not be able to continue, so this is a way of giving a little bit back.
I will travel from Delhi through Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaipur and Agra, passing the Red and Amber Forts along the way before finishing the ride at the Taj Mahal. Its going to be physically and mentally challenging, but all for a good cause! I shall be riding a classic Enfield Bullet Motorcycle, which are still built and widely used in India.
I aim to raise £3000 or more and any donations are gratefully received.
Scope can only reach 1 in 4 people at the moment so every little helps.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scope gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
